As a Citi employee, you will have access to some of the best training programs offered by any financial services institution in the world. We offer structured training via a number of avenues, such as online programs or extensive internal and external training networks. Development plans are set between you and your manager at least once a year.

Learning programs are promoted for employees of all levels as part of our Learning Curriculum, which covers a large array of technical training, client service skills, leadership and management skills and personal development programs.

We have a number of specialist development programs for our employees - some of which operate within specific businesses. In Corporate and Investment Banking, these include the Analyst and Associate Training Programs within Investment Banking, the Graduate Rotation Programs within Global Equities and Global Fixed Income, and the Operations & Technology Leadership Development Program. In the Consumer Bank, the Management Associate Program is developed around training and business rotations to enable people to take on future leadership roles.

However, learning at Citi is not about attending training courses. Some of the most powerful growth opportunities happen on the job. We also recognise the importance of mentoring to our employees' career development. In Australia, our Corporate and Investment Banking and Global Wealth Management businesses sponsor and actively participate in the NSW Women in Finance 'Mentoring for Success Program'. Across all our businesses, our highly talented people are offered internal mentors to help them develop in their careers. External mentoring and executive coaching programs are also available to senior employees.

As a new employee, you are supported in your transition to Citi, through our Citi Assimilation Program. Many businesses complement this with a 'buddy' program.
